I am very pleased to say that my speaker submission for SharePoint Saturday UK 2011 has been approved.
The IT PRO session will be titled “Dodge the Bullet – 10 common SharePoint administration mistakes”.
During the session I will be looking to cover some of the lessons learned from 3 years of experience in the SharePoint administration space, including:
- Why you MUST document your SharePoint farm configuration
- Correcting the default SQL server settings to improve performance
- A look at the SP1 guidance around content database sizing
I am hoping to make this a discussion as opposed to a lecture – I still have a lot to learn after all!
